JD Classics can build any classic engine, of any make, to any specification. Producing wholly reliable fast-road, race car and standard engines is what our team of qualified and experienced engineers do.

All of our engines are rebuilt in our purpose-built engine room, manned by dedicated staff who produce the highest quality rebuilds: from standard specification, to modified JD Sport high-torque engines, as well as JD Sport fuel-injection, with mappable management systems.

We use only the highest quality parts on our total engine rebuilds – and true to the original specification wherever possible. And if parts are no longer available, we have the expertise to tool them in-house in our dedicated machine shop.

So when your drive is powered by an engine restored by JD Classics, it will sound and perform no less than the original designer believed it should.

Using the large collection of original drawings and diagrams we’ve assembled over the years, our in-house machining specialist can produce the most intricate one-off machining in any metal required. And the result? The highest level of craftsmanship in the most obscure but vital areas of our work relating to engineering integrity, performance and safety.
